About Got Propane

John Balsamo started a small, family-owned propane business in 1984 with one fill-up station in Burbank. When customers inquired about delivery service, he purchased his first Bobtail truck, which carried only 500 gallons of propane and started his venture into the propane delivery service. John acted on his dreams of expansion and grew the business, working with his son, Sal, to make sure the needs of customers were being met. With referrals and word of mouth as the only source of advertisement, the company flourished. In 1995 John and Sal opened up the first storage facility in Los Angeles, California. John soon retired and Sal has been operating and directing the company ever since.

Since that time, the company has grown, coming a long way from its first fill-up station. We have continued to grow over the past 34 years, yet always remained committed to quality and service, which continues to guide the company to this day. In 2018, we decided to pivot our focus and for this reason, a portion of our operations sold as Sal's Propane, and Got Propane Inc. was born with the intention of maintaining the same quality of service we've worked so hard to build. We felt there was a lack of supply when the demand was needed and we knew we had the resources to fill that void in the propane industry and our wholesale concept expanded with Got Propane Inc.

Today, we're proud to say we own 2 large-scale storage facilities in the Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties, with one more coming soon. Our main focus now is on wholesale deliveries in the Southern California region.
